London Calling, London Calling, London Calling...

The trip to London had largely been uneventful.  Granted, the Gargoyles had been asleep for it, carefully packaged with plenty of form insulation in carefully prepared crates, but it was uneventful all the same.  Fortunate for Elisa, Lexington, and Icy.

London itself was largely like she remembered it from her brief time there during the World Tour, so she lead the way across the night sky toward the Soho district.  They were heading toward a certain shop, known as Into the Mystic, a money-making venture for the London Clan, which allowed them to pose as humans in costume.  They would reconnoiter with whoever was there at the time (Elisa hoped for Una, Leo, Griff, or Nina), and then hopefully head on to the main manor on which the rest of the Clan lived.

"You doing okay there, Lex, Icy?" Elisa asked, as she adjusted her flight path a little.

"Here comes the rain." Icy chuckles softly as her fine hair plasters itself to her head.

Lex groans. "Aw, maaan, I hate gliding in rain," he says.

Elisa laughs. "Get used to it. It rains a lot here."

"Now, I know Lex has met Griff, but this'll be your first time meeting the Londoners, Icy. They look a little... different, than your typical Gargoyle. If such a thing really exists."

"I've been to the Nexus," says the little female, looking at Elisa with her big eyes and then yelping softly and redirecting her flight path.

"Yeah, I know," Elisa says. "Just wanted to make sure you're prepared. They're, ah, animal-headed, for the most part."

Icy takes an automatic step toward the wall, then stops to look up at Elisa.

Elisa smiles and nods, and soon the four are airborne.

Coco gives Icy a curious glance. "You're not Scottish stock. Where're you from?"

The small teen glances at her, then wobbles and reaches out for Elisa's hand so that she can stay gliding in a straight line while she replies. "Antarctica."

Icy takes a deep breath and hugs Lex around the neck, then turns... and notices Georgina.

The dragonish girl gets a slight scowl, and then the little Icy female turns back and gives him a quick brow touch before clearing her throat and trying to reply. She has to settle for an uncertain nod. In her experience while playing ball she's likely to be mistaken for a ball.

Icy will get a scowl right back. One that just might be implying "you don't own him."

Lex gives Icy a smile though. "C'mon. It'll be fun."

She turns back to him and signs so that only he can see, THAT GIRL LIKES YOU. I'LL PLAY... TRY PLAY.

"What is yours?" Icy crouches and frowns at her severely, tufted tail twitching at the tip as her large eyes study the other girl.

"You've been giving me the stink eye ever since you showed up, you blue bi..."

"Why are you so rude?"

She nods too, her eyes going back to Lex and then to Staghart.

"Are we playing some more?" she asks, totally unmindful of the rain that's started up again.

The stag-headed Gargoyle looks up. "Going to be a right mess out here pretty quick."

That gets another glance at Lex for a translation. Her English isn't up to dialects really yet.

She nods and lifts a hand to talk, but it's shaking so she flushes more and hides it again.

"It's okay, really," Lex says. "It's just... different here. Lots more Gargoyles our age."

YES, she signs, her fist nodding to him. SORRY FOR BEING SO SILLY.

She gives her soft chuckle and pokes him again.

Lex will just poke her back. See how she likes it!

Icy squeaks and laughs, her smile blooming.

"We could hide over there," she says thoughtfully, looking at a niche in the corner.

Lex snickers. "Whatever you want."

"But then someone would probably come looking for us." She blushes and looks at him sideways, a trace of mischievous laughter in her big eyes.
