*sigh*

To put it bluntly, life sucks right now.  On so many fronts, it's the absolute worst anything's been in a long while.

• Faye's clone Eris is back, as some sort of damned ghost, who I'm reasonably certain I had some kind of encounter with earlier.  Took some precautions and had Owen, by way of Puck teaching Alexander, do a few basic protection spells on the Clan.  Nothing major and certainly nothing that'll protect us from ordinary dangers, but it should hopefully keep us from being possessed if it comes to that.  I was assured it would work on our world's ghosts, but another world's might be a different matter.

• Speaking of the Clan, are numbers are down.  King Arthur, MacBeth, and Griff showed up on our doorstep, needing out help with looking for clues to the location of Arthur's old teacher, Merlin.  At the end of that particular adventure, Nina, Othello, and Desdemona chose to accompany them.  Nina, in order to be with Griff, and the others to give additional support.  We've kept Manhattan safe even before me, when it was just the five guys and Bronx.  With what's left, we should be all right...  But all the same, a reduction is a reduction.

• It's also a really, really bad time to be a Gargoyle right now.  Because Eris was working with Thailog and his clones of Demona and Angela, general public opinion has swung backwards against us.  From both the news and from Matt, we've learned that orders from the mayor's office on down are calling for our heads, pretty much.  Any Gargoyles spotted are to be apprehended.  And even ordinary folk are more afraid of us right now, frightened we'll abduct them.  P.I.T. is doing what it can to stem the tide, but their voices are few.  They lost a good number of members in the wake of this.

• And we really don't know what to do with the new clones either.  We've currently got them imprisoned in the castle, but that's not necessarily a permanent solution.  They're somewhat smarter than the first batch of clones, Delilah and the others, and several degrees more loyal to Thailog and wicked.  Reeducation's not really an option and I'm not sure what else there is to do.  Killing them hardly seems right... 
  

• I suppose we could turn them over to the police...  But that might as well be like handing them over to a lynch mob.  Not that they don't deserve it, but if that were to start  a taste for Gargoyle blood...

I wish I knew what to do about all of this.  It's been bad, but never this bad before.
