Stolen from Harley, who stole them from other people!  Let the stealing continue.

Comment with what your pup thinks of Elisa and I'll will tell you what she thinks of them.

Respond with a 'five things' list for Elisa and I will tell what they are.   You know, five places she might like to go, five people she hates, five whatever...

Well, Faye cares very much for Elisa. She admires her courage and how Elisa cares for people. Oh, she thinks Elisa's quite attractive too. Which five people broke Elisa's brain when she met them in the Nexus?

Elisa cares very much for Faye as well, and respects her for the strength with which she'd made it through all her hardships. She also worries about Faye a lot, simply because the idea of a young woman from a very ordinary place getting caught up in all these extraordinary things is a disconcerting one. The taking up the whole webslinger thing was certainly the start of that.

And of course she's carrying around a tremendous amount of guilt over what happened to her.

Let's see... five people who most broke Elisa's brain:

5)Wednesday Addams
4)The version of Bumblebee who's in a relationship with his version of Spike and Carly
3)The other Bumblebee (first alternate met)
2) The Warner siblings
1) The version of Demona in a relationship with her world's Elisa.

Hey, Faye-mun. Sorry to intrude, and I definitely don't want to interfere in Faye-Ben storylines if it's problematic at all, but if Ben-mun in fact doesn't want Ben dead from his degeneration, and moreover, is undecided on how to cure it, I had a minor little idea. Jack's got some stuff of unusual curative properties and interesting temporary side effects, and after 'overhearing' on Elisa's journal he's in the back of my head deciding that he could spare a bottle.

It's just a random idea, and you and Ben-mun can feel free to dismiss it out of hand. Just thought I'd voice it.

While she has Faye's memories, she doesn't think of Elisa the same way. She'd use Elisa and her Clan to her advantage and amusement, and she'd try to use if not kidnap Delilah for reasons Elisa can probably guess. Of course she won't let Elisa know that...

Elisa obviously doesn't know Faye-clone yet, but she's obviously not going to be too fond of her. Especially if she tries to hurt or otherwise take advatnage of Deiliah. I dare say after Demona and Thailog, the clone might just jump to the top of the people she hates list.

And I bet there would be a Elisa vs. Faye-clone fight too. It should be noted she has Faye's memories and will use that to her advantage.

I wouldn't want anything less. Plenty to throw in Elisa's face to try and mess her up but good.

Kakyoin respects Elisa; She's got a keen sense of judgment and she can follow a line of logic blindfolded. Kakyoin sees her as supportive and reliable, even if she's a bit of a prude.

Well, depending on when you ask, Elisa either thinks Kakyoin's just a little lacking in common sense or a total idiot. On the other hand, she respects his heroic tendencies and that underneath the immaturity, he's a pretty decent guy who's gone out of his way a lot of times to help his friends.

On the other hand, he's also on notice right now, after what he did to Angela. That got her mama-bear instincts all riled up.

2. Deepest secret?
3. Favorite color?
4. Biggest goal?
5. The capital of Assyria?

Well, that's not how the question thingy works, but I'll answer anyway.

1) A New York City hot dog with everything on it.
2) That, everything else aside, she's really weirded out by the idea of laying an egg.
3) lavender
4) For Gargoyles and humans to be able to live in peace.
5) she doesn't know

Five things that Elisa first hated about being a gargoyle but now loves

Date: 2007-04-20 09:12 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] elisa-garg.livejournal.com
Oooh, excellent question.

5) The enhanced senses. Better than human smell, sight, hearing, these pretty much threatened to overwhelm her during her early days, and it wasn't until well into things that she really got good at making any kind of sense at all out of them, especially smell. Now, they're a highly useful part of the whole Gargoyle package.

4) The talons/four-fingered hands. These made doing things all but impossible, and still make some tasks, such as typing, difficult or at least awkward. For a while, she had great trouble with even the simplest tasks, such as simply picking up a fork, extremely difficult. And they were a constant reminder she wasn't human anymore. Now? Being able to scale buildings, rip through stone? Another extremely useful talent to have. One of many abilities she's now got that she appreciates.

3)The wings. Like the tail in item number 2, something that took her way too long to learn to control. She was always getting stuck in doorways or nearly crashing into things. And jumping off buildings gave her such a case of vertigo it's not even funny. The weird sensation from another set of limbs--both the wings themselves and the small "hands"--and trying to wrap a human mind around that were almost overwhelming. Their weight on her back another constant reminder of how much she'd changed. Now? Well, I did a whole entry on the joys of gliding.

2) The tail. Elisa was forever tripping over hers or simply not doing a very good job of controling it originally. Not to mention it tended to tap in a nervous tick whenever she was nervous or upset. One more thing for her mind to try and keep track of, always reminding her that she wasn't human. Made sitting difficult. Now? Useful as a third arm, helpful in a fight. Nice romantic to link tails with Goliath, and makes for more fun during certain... things.

1) The permanence of it. At first, a nightmare. Her humanity was gone, her life was gone, and she was cut off from just about everything. But then... love bloomed and that stopped being so important. She was, after all, still protecting the city. Only now? She wasn't in denial about who she was in love with. Being able to share in Goliath's world, to soar through the skies at his side, to be with him in all ways... She's more than made a new life for herself. Does she miss certain elements of her life? Absolutely, but what she's gained more than makes up for it. She'd be livid about going back to being human. What with a string of going nowhere relationships, love in denial, and a feeling of increasing helplessness as the world got more and more complicated around her in her past, and love in her future, it's little wonder she learned to stop caring and learn to embrace the new future.

Jack, essentially, thinks that Elisa's world is obviously hogging all of the nicness-in-the-nocturnal-ladies-community. She's level-headed and a -- well, "responsible family woman" wouldn't normally work as a description for her in his time, since it'd mean someone who didn't leave the house, but he's gotten the hang of the cultural relativism of temporal and interspecies affairs, so "responsible family woman" it is. And he'd be quite willing to trade clothing for a snack any day.

5 nice things she could say about various "villainous" types in her world?

Date: 2007-04-21 02:38 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] elisa-garg.livejournal.com
Elisa is very fond of Jack. She appreciates that he's got a clear head and is always available with reasonable advice, as well as the fact that he's nothing less than a perfect gentleman. And, of course, he earned a special place in her heart by helping to make her big day about as special as it could be.

On the other hand, she knows something is going on with him that she doesn't quite understand. She only knows that it's bad and quite possibly unnatural. This, naturally, concerns her quite a bit and her total helplessness to do anything bothers her. She's worried about him, frankly.

Five nice things about the villainous types of her world?

5) Thailog: He's got good genes and a voice to die for.
4) MacBeth: Honorable
3) Sevarius: Brilliant
2) Demona: Well, let's just call it that she appreciates that, if not for Demona, she'd have very little of what she has now.
1) Xanatos: Capable of redemption

Raven considers Elisa to be honorable, helpful, and if she knew about the hardships she's been through, very strong.

And I forgot: Who're Elisa's 5 closest friends from the Nexus?

Date: 2007-04-22 04:53 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] elisa-garg.livejournal.com
Elisa admittingly doesn't know Raven as well as she knows some of the other people in the Nexus, but what's she seen has impressed her. Certainly, if she's a super-hero (and regular world-saver), she must be quite strong of will and spirit as well as competent. And, of course, Elisa feels incredibly grateful toward her for helping in the saving of Ben's life.

Elisa's five closest Nexus friends:

5) Ephram
4) Kakyoin
3)Basi
tied for 1) Faye and Harley

((Ephram thinks Elisa is a neat gal! He likes talking with her about how her life has changed, and how she found love against the odds. He also thinks of her as a strong woman, with a lot of common sense, but able to accept things he might not be able to, like magic.))

Date: 2007-04-22 05:02 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] elisa-garg.livejournal.com
Elisa likes Ephram a lot and, if you pushed her on it, would actually admit to finding him attractive, in a charasmatic, older guy/Sean Connery sort of way. As someone who's made unusual choices of her own on how to live her life, both in love and in general, she's got no problems with any of that pertaining to him. So long as you're not hurting anyone, if you're happy, then she's pretty good with it. She also simply enjoys his company, both as an ear to listen, good advice, and the simply niceness of being around someone else very happy and very much in love.

Date: 2007-04-22 06:30 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] ephram-green.livejournal.com
((That's kind of the way I feel about Ephram too. It's the first character I really fell for, which is odd because he's a character I created, but still. There's also something just plain cool about Elisa that draws Ephram...maybe it's because she used to be a cop and has that aura of earned respect about her.))

Oh I forgot...

Five Things Elisa Would change About Her Looks. Either now or as a human.

Date: 2007-04-29 07:04 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] elisa-garg.livejournal.com
An excellent question!

Let's see...

5) Wingwise, Elisa might ever so slightly prefer the more "hook"-like structure than Goliath and some of the others have, instead of the "hands" that hers have on top. Even she things it's just a little werid looking.

4) Eyebrows. She still thinks her face looks a bit odd without them. Granted, it would probably look weirder <>with them now, so it's kind of a no win situation.

3) Her tail. Useful as this is, it could probably stand to be just a bit shorter

2) Might wish that her nose was just a little bit smaller

1) Coloration-wise... well, she's very much this in-between color. An organe-ish tan-ish color... So she might actually prefer to be just a bit more recognizable, colorwise.

Good answers! I like how you play Elisa, it's awesome to have some contact with people who like the show too. When I watched it in high school, I thought dude, who else likes this show? Usually the stuff I like gets yanked off the air and/or nobody knows what the hell it is.

Also, Ephram thinks Elisa is pretty, and any awkwardness she might have with the wings and tail just makes her...not human, but fallible like the rest of us, and that's something he likes.

From: [identity profile] elisa-garg.livejournal.com
Likewise, always good to find other fans of the show. Loved it when it came out, but I like it even more now, that I'm older and can appreciate the depth it had. I'm glad to hear my version of Elisa meets with another fan's approval. I tried pretty hard to logiclly work out what would be the same and what might change given the obvious changes to the universe. By the same token, I'm glad that I was eventually able to cycle her beyond continuity and totally go off in my own directions.

Bumblebee sees Elisa as a good friend, a source of good advice, a very caring person, and thinks she is a very capable protector.

Date: 2007-04-24 02:58 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] elisa-garg.livejournal.com
Elisa thinks of Bumblebee as a good friend and has no doubts that he's just as alive as she is. She appreciates his generally happy nature, sense of humor, and the weight of his x-odd million years worth of experience. And, of course, she also totally likes that he's willing to do some of things she's not (like Force-wedgie-ing Eragon).
