A Good Day's Rest

Elisa's back from the Nexus again, bringing a spot of company with her.  Faye, again.  Although... not quite as the others might have remembered her.

At least none of them were in the immediate area of the castle.  There'd probably be way too many questions.

"Home sweet home," Elisa says.

"With the other Clans out there, anything's possible."

"Let's climb then... We're up at the tallest spot," Elisa says, already starting to climb.

Faye nods, and follows her up.

At the top, Goliath is already waiting and offers Elisa a hand up. Surprise registers on his face for a moment at the sight of the second Gargoyle, but he offers the same hand up to Faye.

"I assume this has something to do with this... LOL, you spoke of, Elisa?"

"Got it in one, Big Guy," Elisa says. "Faye just needs to kill some daylight here and get some 'sleep."

"You are welcome to share our home, Faye."

She takes his hand and pulls herself up. "Thanks," she says, smiling tiredly.

"This'll be okay," Elisa says, taking up a position less than a foot from Goliath's pedestal. "It'll be night again before you know it..."

And there comes the sun. Elisa, like the others--perched on various other spots on the castle--adopts what she hopes is a frightening pose... And turns to stone.

"Right," she says, taking a spot on the other side of Goliath, taking a pose and turning to stone as the sun rises.

Sunset the Next Day

The sun set and cracks began to appear in the stone skin of the Gargoyles... With a roar and glowing eyes, they broke free of their shells to greet the night!

Having just broken out of her stone skin, Faye stands there looking a bit bewildered.

"You... all right, Faye?" Elisa asks. Her own first night as stone was harsh, filled with nightmares...

"I'm... okay," she says quietly, "Just some bad dreams."

Elisa gives Faye a hug. "It's okay... Those won't last."

Yeah. 'Those won't last.' Real nice, Elisa. I mean, what's that? It won't last because this will wear off? It won't last because you'll get used to everything? God, I hope I haven't done this to anyone permanently...

However, when she speaks, it is with hope. "They won't. You'll see. You wanna stay here a while, or you gonna head back?"
