Bad Guys and other things

reluctant_gargoyleSince I shared my friends and family in the last post, I'll talk about some of the bad guys from my world, and a few other things too.
This is the often mentioned Demona. Goliath's former mate, she betrayed the Clan a thousand years ago as part of a plan to drive the humans out of Castle Wyvern, then ended up turning into a Gargoyle massacre. Somewhere along the line, she became linked with MacBeth and became immortal. She's also Angela's mother. Hates humanity in general and me in particular. Skilled in science and sorcery.
Anton Sevarius. Mad scientist to the Nth degree. Created Thailog and the other clones, turned Derek and the others into Mutates, tried to capture the Loch Ness monster, and has probably done stuff we don't even know about.
Jackal, Hyena, and Wolf. The remaining members of a mercanary group called the Pack. They've tried to kill us on numerous occasions. Jackal and Hyena are cyborgs now, and Wolf's become a mutated wolf-man. And they're all as nuts as can be. Jackal's got weird, possessive issues where his sister there is concerned, to the creepy level. Hyena's a stone-cold killer, and has a robophilia thing going on. And Wolf's just big, dumb, and agressive. All three traded in their humanity for the ability to kill us, but I'd say they got a bum wrap, given that we're still alive.
Tony Dracon, local mob heir and general pain in my ass when I was on the force. It was... surprisingly rewarding to encounter him after I'd become a Gargoyle. Didn't kill him, of course, but holding him off the edge of a very tall building and reminding him that there weren't any rules anymore... Well, we'll call that a guility pleasure.
Fang. The four person mutated by Sevarius, along with Derek, Maggie, and Claw. A petty criminal at heart, he tried to turn the Labyrinth into a gangland haven. Derek and some of the gang shut that down, and now he's locked up down there.
Thailog. Clone of Goliath, with an ethics and intelligence program modeled after Xanatos. Possibly the worst, most horrifying being ever the walk the face of the Earth. I shouldn't say this of anyone, but I'm glad he's dead.
David Xanatos. Grade-A scumbag, utterly amoral, master manipulator. Sees people as nothing more than objects to further his own goals, which includes immortality. Responsible for bringing the Clan to the present, but only so that he could use them. Responsible for Derek and the others being Mutates. Responsible for all kinds of other crimes too. And now... he says his feud with the Clan is over. We helped protect his son from Oberon, and now he wants to make up for what he's done to us. I don't believe it for a second, but at least he's left us alone for a while.
Fox Xanatos, wife of David. Former member of the Pack, and just as much of a gamesman and manipulator as he is. A match made in hell, and they actually have a kid. Her mother was actually Titania, Queen of the Third Race.
A Steel Clan robot. One of Xanatos' attempts to replace the Gargoyles with something more 'effective.'
Xanatos' chief henchgoon, Owen. Has the personality of a rock. Most of the time. He's also...
Puck. Trickster of the highest order. He's the one who turned me into a Gargoyle and turned my life upside down. Granted, he was being forced to work for Demona at the time, and if not for some creative interpreting, I'd be dead... So let's just say, given the happy ending, that it all evens out to neutral here.
Those are the major bad guys of my universe. Here's some other odds and ends people from here.
Coldstone and Coldfire. Rookery siblings to Goliath, they were destroyed in the massacre. Using science and sorcery, Demona and Xanatos ressurected them into Coldstone's cyborg body, along with the soul of a third Gargoyle. Eventually, Coldfire and the other's souls were seperated, and placed into new, fully robotic bodies. These two are our allies.
Coldsteel, on the other hand, is one of our enemies. But apparently, soul transfers only work if all participants are willing, so he needed to get a new body too, in order to get him out of Coldstone. Or at least, that's what Puck said. The only thing's still kinda confusing.
MacBeth is actually the historical MacBeth, though Shakespeare got quite a few things wrong (not the least of which was Demona's involvement). A former enemy, he's now, if not an ally, at least off the 'bad guy' list.
King Arthur. Yes, the King Arthur. I woke him up on Avalon to help fight the Archmage. Another friend and ally to the Clan.
And last but not least for this entry...
