(no subject)

So, for those few of you not in the know, Goliath and I are soon to be parents, albeit it in a considerably round and about way.  Sevarius--a mad scientist who, among other things, made the clones--is responsible, actually.  Using samples of my DNA and Goliath's, he tried growing up a Gargoyle the slower way, only accelerating the egg's growth to close to the hatching point, rather than adulthood like the clones.  We were fortunate beyond words to have gotten ahold of the egg. 

We're... nervous, is a good word for it.  Sure, there's Angela, but she was damn near full grown by the time we met her.  Not at all like raising a real baby.  We're... striking a balance.  Kid's gonna absolutely know we're his or her parents, but everybody's gonna be involved in some way or another in the upbringing. Typical extended family stuff, I guess.

Scary world to bring children into, but Nash and Tachi are only ten and five (more or less) and they handle it all well enough.  Just hope by the time the kid really starts growing up, there won't be anything to fear.


Been thinking a lot about names for the kid.  Fair amount of tradition in our little Clan for geography-based names, but don't know if we want to go down that route.
